It is not here as in the quadrature of a circle which may be knowne, but the way is not yet found out: for the time is at hand when all things fore-told here, shall be fulfilled; this being a perfect Ecclesiasticall story, from S. Iohn to the end of the world, of all materiall things in the Church. His Phrase is Propheticall, his Method Logicall. He was Legatus à latere to Christ, one of his generall Ambassadours, and leaned on Iesus bosome. |
