In-Text The third way is, when taking aduantage of the Law, wee prosecute the extremitie thereof against our brother, who perhaps hath done something contrary to the letter of the Law, but not violated the intent of the Lawgiuer, or offended either against common Equitie, which ought to bee the measure of iust Lawes, or against the common good, which is in some sort the measure of Equitie.
