How comes it to passe then that some haue beene comforted by Faith who were but slenderly if at all humbled by Repentance, as wee see in Lydia, Act. 16. 14. whose heart the Lord opened; that shee attended the things that were spoken? And in the Eunuch, Act. 8. 39. of whom it it is said presently vpon his hearing of the word from the mouth of Philip, And hee went on his way reioycing. |
