In-Text Againe, in that the Prophet doth acknowlege, that if the Lord should bring vpon him, all those iudgements which hee before had threatned by the Prophet Nathan, namely, 2. Sam. 12. That the Sword should neuer de part from his house, that the child conceiued in adultery should die, That his sonnes should defloure his wiues, &c. yet for all that, that God were most iust in his iudgements, wee learne a second point of Doctrine, that howsoeuer the Lord reprooueth vs for sin, and seemes to threaten and thunder out his iudgements as hee did against Dauid, yet we are to confesse that God is iust and righteous in his threatnings, that hee doth not deale more seuerely with vs then our sins deserue. Again, in that the Prophet does acknowledge, that if the Lord should bring upon him, all those Judgments which he before had threatened by the Prophet Nathan, namely, 2. Sam. 12. That the Sword should never de part from his house, that the child conceived in adultery should die, That his Sons should deflower his wives, etc. yet for all that, that God were most just in his Judgments, we Learn a second point of Doctrine, that howsoever the Lord Reproveth us for since, and seems to threaten and thunder out his Judgments as he did against David, yet we Are to confess that God is just and righteous in his threatenings, that he does not deal more severely with us then our Sins deserve. av, p-acp d dt n1 vdz vvi, cst cs dt n1 vmd vvi p-acp pno31, d d n2 r-crq pns31 a-acp vhd vvn p-acp dt n1 np1, av, crd np1 crd cst dt n1 vmd av-x vbi n1 p-acp po31 n1, cst dt n1 vvd p-acp n1 vmd vvi, cst po31 n2 vmd vvi po31 n2, av av p-acp d d, cst np1 vbdr av-ds j p-acp po31 n2, pns12 vvb dt ord n1 pp-f n1, cst c-acp dt n1 vvz pno12 p-acp n1, cc vvz pc-acp vvi cc vvi av po31 n2 c-acp pns31 vdd p-acp np1, av pns12 vbr pc-acp vvi cst np1 vbz j cc j p-acp po31 n2-vvg, cst pns31 vdz xx vvi av-dc av-j p-acp pno12 cs po12 n2 vvi.
