In-Text Now therfore foloweth the syxt petitiō, in the whiche we praye, that God wyll gyue vs all those thinges, whiche we haue learned in the.iii. parte of the Crede, whiche intreateth of our Sanctification, that is to saye, we desyre, that God will vouchesafe, to sende vs the holye ghost, whiche may assist vs in our continuall batell agaynste synne, the fleshe, the world and the deuel, that in all temptations and skyrmishes with the same, we may māfully withstande theim, and ouercome theim.
