Numb. 7. 89. and the Ark is therefore his presence and his face, those that serve there are said to minister before him in his presence, those that come there to appear before him Psalm 42. 2. those that pray, to seek his face 2 Chron. 7. 14. and to intreat the face of the Lord 1 Kings 13. 6. and our King David did desire one thing of the Lord, which, says he, I will require, even that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord, Psalm 27. 4.
