4. The laying a good Foundation of Religion at first, renders the Man useful to others, obedient to Superiours, profitable to Church and State, peaceable, just in his Dealings, meek and courteous in his Converse, charitable in his Thoughts and Words, of Things and Persons, steady in that Station in which God has placed him, without breaking the Harmony of the World, conscientious and industrious in his proper Calling. |
