As Magistrates have their badges of honour, and eminent persons have that allowance in their apparel, to which inferiour persons ought not to aspire (as Job had his robe and diadem ) So to a godly discerning Magistrate, the faithful discharge of his Office, is his chief crown and ornament, without which, he is but a Statue in all his robes and splendour; |
