In-Text since God is abundant in truth, we may well be abundant in confidence. Indeed Gods fidelity should draw out the actings of our faith, and the acting of faith will as it were draw forth Gods fidelity. Very observable to this purpose is that expression of the Psalmist, Oh how great is thy goodnesse which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, which thou hast wrought before the sonnes of men for them that trust in thee ? In the former clause, Gods goodnesse is said to be laid up, in the latter to be wrought: goodnesse is layd up in the promise, wrought in the performance ; since God is abundant in truth, we may well be abundant in confidence. Indeed God's Fidis should draw out the actings of our faith, and the acting of faith will as it were draw forth God's Fidis. Very observable to this purpose is that expression of the Psalmist, O how great is thy Goodness which thou hast laid up for them that Fear thee, which thou hast wrought before the Sons of men for them that trust in thee? In the former clause, God's Goodness is said to be laid up, in the latter to be wrought: Goodness is laid up in the promise, wrought in the performance; c-acp np1 vbz j p-acp n1, pns12 vmb av vbi j p-acp n1. av npg1 n1 vmd vvi av dt n2 pp-f po12 n1, cc dt vvg pp-f n1 vmb c-acp pn31 vbdr n1 av npg1 n1. av j p-acp d n1 vbz cst n1 pp-f dt n1, uh q-crq j vbz po21 n1 r-crq pns21 vh2 vvn a-acp p-acp pno32 cst vvb pno21, r-crq pns21 vh2 vvn p-acp dt n2 pp-f n2 p-acp pno32 cst vvb p-acp pno21? p-acp dt j n1, ng1 n1 vbz vvn pc-acp vbi vvn a-acp, p-acp dt d pc-acp vbi vvn: n1 vbz vvn a-acp p-acp dt vvb, vvd p-acp dt n1;
