We read in Ezek. Ch. 10. of a Wheel within a Wheel, that is, I suppose (for I do not take upon me to be an Interpreter of Prophecies,) the Church within the State. It is said there, that the Wheels went along, but they did not turn, they only went as the Head guided them, that is, the Cherub; (for the four Cherubs had each his Wheel) and the Cherub was a sign of Gods Majestatick presence. The Moral is plain. |
