Note 0 As that What we receive in the Sacrament is Bread in it's own nature and essence, and that it nourisheth our Body, &c. That wicked men receive no other but Bread, though to the Faithful it is truly Christ's Body, and therefore it is called his Body. That it is a Sacrament, a Sign, an Image, and a Figure of his Body. Which last words were in the Canon of the Mass, till it was altered in favour to this new Opinion. v. Gratian Decr. de Consecr. Dist. 2. c. 55.
