Pope Gregory. I. in his Dialogues, where, among many idle tales, he hath some that are palpably false, andd such as bewray both his Ingorance and Credulity together. For Example, that of St. Paulins being a Slave in Afric till the Death of the King of the Vandals, who could be no other than Genseric, that out-lived St. Paulin five and forty years.
