You have the Christians Armory, Eph. 6 11-17. which sufficiently proves his Souldiery. Truth is his girdle, Righteousness his Breastplate, Preparation of the Gospel his Shooes, Hope ••s Helmet, the Word his Sword, and now when these are on, he is fit to meet with Principalities and Powers (at least when by Prayer, which follows in the next words, he hath engaged the Lord of Hosts to be with him ) What will you call one so equipped or accoutred but a Souldier, and what is he to expect but Fighting?
