How dead and vapid are all the Blandishments of the world to him, who is exercis'd in spiritual Agonies, in the Olympies of the Soul? who when Persecution ceases, can yet obtain for himself a Crown of Martyrdom by strict Abstinencies, holy Discipline, and the rigours of Mortification?
