Upon which Accounts, so great is the Madness, so grievous the Guilt of Opposing or Rejecting the Councils of the Lord by the Rebellious Devices of Men! which is so unreasonable in the Attempt, so wicked in the Fact, and so very pernicious in its Consequences; that tends to the loss of Liberty, the extirpation of the True Religion, the merciless Revenge of an insulting Enemy, and the unavoidable Judgments of a Provoked, Just, and Jealous Deity! |
