In-Text if we look into the Antient Faith of the Roman Church, we shall find it to have been exprest by self-denial, by bearing the Cross, by Subjection unto Princes, and suffering Persecutions to that degree, that a great number of their primitive Bishops were successively made so many glorious Martyrs. And how comes it to pass, that whereas Loyalty and Love was once a great part of that Churches Honour; at last the lawfulness of Treason, and Rebellion and Cruelty should get in to be part of her Creed!
