In-Text Nor is there any where so sad, and so deplorable a Spectacle, as that which sometimes appeares in this House of Prayer; when in the solemnest Assembly of all the Year, a Son of God shall be so transform'd into the absolute Guise of a Son of Belial, as to despise his own Soul, in the defiling of Himselfe and the House of God, by an applauded Defamation of his Superiours; by subjecting them to the Contumelies and Asperities of his Tongue, which is not only the unruliest, but in that case also, the filthiest member of his Body.
