In-Text § 2. From the first being compared with the matter of the Question, (that is to say, with the NONLATINALPHABET) 'tis very obvious to draw forth this Doctrinal Proposition. That the Son of God Incarnate, who at present is our Advocate, and will hereafter be our Iudge, and who purposely came to save us from the Tyranny of our Sins, is not only a Saviour to offer Promises to our Faith, but also a Master to exact Obedience to his Commands. We must not only believe him, which is but to have him in our Brains; nor must we only confess him, which is but to have him in our Mouths; no nor must we only love him, which (were it possible to be done) were only to have him in our hearts; But farther yet we must Obey him and do him Service, which is to have him in our Hands and our Actions too. § 2.
