The Pelagians of old affirmed that nature and free-will was sufficient of it self as to the acts of obedience without internal grace. And some in our days cry up moral vertue, and count it a great crime for any man to make a difference between grace and moral vertue. But let us consider this Text. We may find enough in this Text to confute all these notions; consider what is said here unto Paul, My grace is sufficient for thee. |
