Shall it be treason and death to speak thus and thus against men that are mortal, weak Gods? and shall it not at all be penal to blaspheme the Almighty and Everliving God, in denying his Truths, which are more worth then the whole world? Surely Blasphemies, Idolatry and Heresies, sins against the first Table, are greater (as being more directly and immediately against God) then sins against the second Table, and therefore deserve punishments; vide 1 Kings 18.18.
