At the best, we are but Tenants at will; and if some of us consider our Ages, and others our Weakness, and all of us the perilous Times we are cast into, we may well think that our Leases are fast hasting to an expiration. What Man therefore is he that desireth Life, and loveth many days, let him seek peace, saith the Psalmist, Psalm. 34. 12, 13, 14. and let me add, Patience; for Patience is one of the best Preservatives.
