as for the more cōmodious administration of the Sacrament to the people, the holy church hath vsed euen from the tyme of Christ himself and his Apostles, to minister this sacrament vnder the fourme of bread onely, both to lay men & women and also to priestes, sauing when they doe consecrate and minister to them selues with their owne handes, in which doing it hath the example of Christ, who the daye of hys resurrection ministred this sacramente to two of his disciples in the Castell of Emaus vnder one kinde alone, |
