St. Chrysost. calls it the Bed of Roses, because a Saint by Divine Meditation doth receive a fragrant scent from thence, its likewise called (parva Biblia) because in a brief manner, there is contein'd in it as in a Bible, viz, Hystory, Law and Promises. |
