We may take notice by the way, that it is advantageous (which some complain of) for the Liturgy to be divided into several distinct Prayers, that we may request more earnestly while we determine our Souls to single petitions;

If a man pray for the conduct of Gods gracious Spirit, what operations of the Spirit are needful in this Supplication? what are necessary to attain the end Prayer, i. e. acceptance with God?
