Note 0 So did Saunders make use of the Bull of Pivs 5. to justifie a Treason of Stanly and York in the Low Countries, in delivering up of Daventry (a strong Town pertaining to the Ʋnited States ) to the king of Spain; because he kept it in the name of Q. Eliz. who had it now as a Cautionary town from the States, and she (as he pretended) was deprived by the Pope of all Soveraigntie, and Dominions, and therefore Stanly did well, and others might do the like with any of the rest.
