In-Text It was by sending back the Pharisees to the most venerable Antiqui•y, that our Lord here asserted the Law of wedlock, against the old Custom of their Divorce. Whilst they had made themselves drunk with their muddy streams, He directed them to the Fountain, to drink themselves into sobriety.
