In-Text Now if the Church of Ephesus, which had all this Honour, had aspir'd to a Supremacy over all other Churches, it might have made a fairer Title to it by St. Paul, than that which the Church of Rome hath made by St. Peter. For St. Paul was separated to his Office from his Mothers Womb. He was called to it in a singular and extraordinary manner, by Christ appearing to him in a Vision from Heaven.
