That which is contrary to the Gospel hath no right, and therefore should have no liberty. But the Lawes which have been made by the Civill Government here, with respect unto Religion, whereby you have declared your professed subjection to the Gospel, and your non-toleration of that which is contrary thereunto; this will be a name and a glory to New-England so long as the Sun and Moon endure. |
