Indeed a primacy of Order may very easily be allow'd to the See of Rome: But for any one Bishop to affect over his Brethren a supremacy of Power and Iurisdiction, is a most impudent opposition both to the Letter and the Sense of our Saviour's precept, (Mark 10. 42, 43, 44.) Ye know, that they who are accounted to rule over the Gentiles, exercise lordship over them, For S.
