observing yearly, double sort of year, an Ecclesiastical from the Advent of our Saviour, as well as a Civil from the Return of the Sun. For the Times and Seasons of the Church are measured, her spiritual Growths fostered, not by the Sun in the Firmament,

But how comes the Church to make choice of one of the last Passages of Christs Life, to proclaim his first coming into the World? the Season of his Passion, to introduce the Time of his Nativity? Because this coming of Christ in Triumph into Jerusalem, shews him who he was, to be a King, which 〈 ◊ 〉 was but nam'd and stil'd at his Birth:
