This Custome of anointing the Body for the sunerall, and of strawing it over with rich gummes and Spices among the Jews is made plaine from the last Offices that were performed by Nicodemus, and Joseph of Arimathea, to the Body of our Saviour after it was taken downe from the Crosse,
