Outward afflictions, when as God doth smite a man in his outward estate, in his goods, in his good name, in his credit, in the losse of his libertie by imprisonment;

Now concerning inward afflictiōs of the mind, trouble of conscience, feare of Gods wrath before mentioned, it is apparant that Gods children are not exempted nor priviledged from them, besides the example of Iob before named, I will instance onely in the Prophet Dauid, whose complaints are as Symtoms of the sicknesse of his mind, which are these;
