But here perchaunce some wold thynk these thynges, what apperteyne to us Christians, the ten commaundementes of god? seyng that they were delyuered to the Iewes by Moyses,

What nede I to haue manye wordes? You heare (welbeloued chyldren) youre mother commaundyng your systers to laboure in spynnyng at the rocke, not yt youre mother is broughte bye those labours, to beleue that her daughters do beserue their lyuynge, and shall be iustyfyed therby:
What need I to have many words? You hear (well-beloved children) your mother commanding your Sisters to labour in spinning At the rock, not that your mother is brought buy those labours, to believe that her daughters do beserue their living, and shall be Justified thereby:
and that they shoulde knowe often tymes the imbecilitie and wekenes of their strengthe and nature, seyng yt they can not perfourme those labours which are put vnto them.
and that they should know often times the imbecility and weakens of their strength and nature, sing that they can not perform those labours which Are put unto them.

I haue minded my welbeloued chyldrē, to speake these few wordes before, for that I wolde declare vntoo you, the iudgemente of my councell, in expoundynge the commaundementes of God,

Very often ye haue heard of me (well beloued children) that the hole lyfe of a christiā, doth stand in two thynges, fyrste, that we myghte knowe what doth perteyne vnto God and then what is our dewtye towardes men.
Very often you have herd of me (well Beloved children) that the hold life of a christian, does stand in two things, First, that we might know what does pertain unto God and then what is our duty towards men.

Those thynges which we must exhybit towardes god, ye may easely perceyue them out of the fyrste commaundement, whiche I wolde wysshe, yt you wolde beare aboute wyth you in youre mynde,
Those things which we must exhybit towards god, you may Easily perceive them out of the First Commandment, which I would wish, that you would bear about with you in your mind,
and that you wolde kepe them more better then the nayles on youre fyngers, for why, they shall teache you in all thynges how you shall vse youre selfe.

Furthermore, that duetie whyche we ought to do towarde men, the commaūdementes that folow declare, seing that our duetie done once vnto god, there are no men whom it becomethe to imbrase wyth a more greater loue & to do more greates honour vnto, then to our parentes:
