And that we must be made meet to be Partakers before we partake, is clear from Col. 1.12. where the Apostle exhorts them, ( having pray'd ) that they might give thanks to the Father, who had made them meet to be Partakers of the inheritance of the Saints in light, who had fitted them for the Kingdome of Heaven, for that's the inheritance of the Saints in light;
